" I have been working with KAT Communications for 3 years. I have always appreciated the help they have given me, a person with little or no website knowledge. Whenever I call with a question they make me feel like I am a priority. Each of the staff I have worked with has handled my concerns with immediate attention as they work with me in promoting our website. Their knowledge of website design, brochures, banners and advertising has been an incredible benefit to our organization. "

KAT Communications of Bismarck hosted members of the North Dakota Center for Persons with Disabilities, the Centers for Disease Control’s Division of Human Development and Disability and the National Limb Loss Information Center from the Amputation Coalition of America, along with area American Indian health professionals as they discussed outreach strategies to increase prevention of amputations in Indian Country.

Among American Indians, 75%-80% of amputations due to complications of diabetes are preventable.  The group discussions led to a series of collaborative strategies and proposals that will increase awareness and preventive education in an effort to cause a measurable decrease in these statistics.
